Palazzo Pavona Asquini is the third palace for those coming from Porta Manin, the medieval gate of the city. It was built at the foot of the castle as a fiefdom for its residence.
The Palace consists of an organism with two main bodies connected to each other to form an internal courtyard and a first rectangular garden enclosed between the facade of the second body and one of its wings that opens onto a series of five steps going up the castle hill.
The facade of the Palace obeys a composition of seven architectural parts, of which the central one is the most important and consists of a large ashlar arch with access to the courtyard, on which two stone pillars are superimposed, enclosed by a large protruding frame. The central arched window of the main floor rests on the architrave.
Throughout the year, cultural meetings and guided tours are organized at Palazzo Pavona Asquini.
